New Release: Bell & Ross BR-X3 fake Watch



Perhaps the easiest way for a brand to create a "new" watch is to use an existing movement and case. While this might not be entirely innovative, it's often a no-brainer, leaving the outcome uncertain. Bell & Ross, renowned for its aviation-inspired watches, and more recently for its "Urban" BR-05 collection, has done just that. In effect, it took the movement from the BR-X5 and placed it in the case of the BR-03. The new Bell & Ross BR-X3 (again, not entirely innovative, but a fitting alphanumeric reference to the brand's watchmaking endeavors) brings the X5's power reserve movement to the recognizable flight instrument silhouette for which the brand is best known.

If you're familiar with Bell & Ross, you're almost certainly familiar with its BR-03 collection luxury fake watches, which offers three-hand, chronograph, GMT, dive, and even space models. In 2019, the brand boldly entered the integrated bracelet arena with the launch of the "Urban" BR-05 collection, subsequently adding a chronograph and, most relevant to this article, the BR-X5, featuring a new in-house movement produced by Kenissi with a power reserve and date display. This movement powers the new Bell & Ross BR-X3, marking its first use in a BR-03 case.

The Bell & Ross BR-X3 is available in stainless steel or grade 2 titanium with black DLC decoration. The case measures the brand's standard 41mm wide and 13.3mm thick. This is 2.7mm thicker than the standard BR-03 and 0.5mm thicker than the previous BR-X5 equipped with this movement. In my experience, the BR-05/X5 watches are thicker, sturdier, and much more noticeable on the wrist than any other BR-03-based watch I've worn. This is partly due to the relatively flat case, which, factoring in the protruding bezel and caseback, is thinner than the entire watch. On the wrist, and with the supplied perforated rubber strap (which flares outward to accommodate the width of the lugs), the BR-X3 likely behaves like its sibling and is surprisingly easy to wear. Both watches feature a decorative ring around the bezel--blue on the blue dial and black DLC on the titanium model--and also feature a screw-down crown (black DLC on the titanium model), 100-meter water resistance, and a flat sapphire crystal. Grand Seiko Launches Gold Models



Spring Drives on Japan-Exclusive Solid Gold Bracelets.

Grand Seiko has introduced three gold Spring Drive models equipped with the new 9RA2 caliber. The Japan-exclusive Heritage Collection SLGA030, SLGA027, and SLGA028 come in rose gold, white gold, and yellow gold, respectively.

The new collection features slimmer cases, longer power reserves, some new dials, and a delightful, nearly 200-gram 18k gold bracelet.

Though little known outside of Japan, the three gold Spring Drive watches with 44GS-style cases and solid gold bracelets have been a staple of Grand Seiko's domestic lineup for nearly a decade. The caliber 9R15, once the brand's finest automatic Spring Drive movement, was housed within it. Aside from the gold insignia on the rotor, this movement is identical to the 9R65, but Seiko reserves its highest-performing quartz chronograph kit for these special movements.
